Psa 40:5
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be
pitiful, be courteous: 1Pe 3:8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. First Corinthians 13:4-8
Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. Timothy 2:23
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace"
(James 3:17-18).
Therefore, as God's chosen
people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion,
kindness, humility, gentleness and
patience. Bear with each other and forgive
whatever grievances you may have
against one another. Forgive as the
Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put
on love, which binds them all
together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in
your hearts, since as members of one
body you were called to peace. And
be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in
you richly as you teach and admonish
one another with all wisdom, and as
you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual
songs with gratitude in your hearts
to God.
And whatever you do, whether in
word or deed, do it all in the name
of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to
God the Father through him.
Coloss 3:12-17
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and
gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a
glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but
that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their
wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his
wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated
his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it,
even as the Lord the church: For we are members
of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For
this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and
they two shall be one flesh. This is a great
mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the
church. Nevertheless let every one of you in
particular so love his wife even as himself; and
the wife see that she reverence her husband"(Ephesians 5:25)
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as
unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the
church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto
Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing Ephesians
5:20-24
